Suspect in stabbing sent to prison

GALLIPOLIS - Donald D. Crago, 30, 512 Fifth Ave., Gallipolis, pled guilty to attempted felonious assault and theft and has been sentenced in Gallia County Common Pleas Court.

In February, Crago led authorities on a manhunt near River Valley High School, which was immediately locked down, after stabbing Brandon Locke, 23, Columbus, three times in the neck.

Crago was sentenced to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction for four years on the attempted felonious assault charge, 18 months for the theft charge, and 18 month for a tampering with evidence charge in another case, to be served consecutively.

Crago was credited 147 days of jail time on the grand jury indictment and 147 days on the other charge.
