Grand jury issues 39 indictments

GALLIPOLIS - Members of the Gallia County grand jury last week heard cases dealing with theft, robbery, violent crimes and drug offenses.

The jury heard from 43 witnesses in 40 cases and issued 39 indictments on Friday. One case was continued, according to court records.

The Court of Common Pleas unsealed six of the indictments, records indicate. The rest remain sealed pending arrests.
