Ruth was a retired clerk for the Jackson County Treasurer's Office. She was a member of the Thurman Methodist Church and a member of the Thurman Grange.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lloyd; and brothers, Floyd and Fred Beman.
She is survived by sons, Dwight (Becky) Lloyd of Gallipolis, and Hayden Lloyd of Hamilton; daughters, Doris Lloyd and Bernice Lloyd of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Eric, Greg (Valerie) and Ashley Lloyd; and a brother, Luther Beman of Ravenna.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006, at the Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Burial will follow in the New Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
