Donald M. Tennant, 74, 367 Quail Creek, Lot 54, Gallipolis, was indicted on one charge of rape, a first-degree felony. According to the indictment, between Feb. 3 and Feb. 6, 2006, Tennant allegedly raped an underage female.

Tennant was arrested by the Gallia County Sheriff's Department Wednesday, according to jail records. Later in the day, he was ordered to be placed under house arrest because of health problems, Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Adkins said.

He also was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim, Adkins said.
