June Brumfield, 66, of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, July 24, 2011. June was a loving wife, mother and maw maw and dedicated her life to her grandchildren. She was a member of the French City Baptist Church.

She was born on February 21, 1945, in Gallia County, daughter of the late Dowie and Bonnie Glover Williams. June is survived by her husband Roger S. Brumfield whom she married on August 21, 1966, in Gallia County. Also surviving are two daughters, Amy (David) Belville of Athens, Ohio and Lori A. Brumfield-Nunn of Bidwell; three grandchildren, Emily Jo Belville, Elizabeth June Belville, and Dylan Nunn; three sisters, Mary Jo Ours, Nancy Marshall, and Helen Rollins, all of Gallipolis; and countless extended family and friends. June was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother James Thomas Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Mark Williams and John Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the services at Willis Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be David Belville, Dustin Nunn, Randy Crews, Marvin Ours, Rick Jackson, Sr., and Ed Rollins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dylan Nunn, Brian Ours, Michael Ours, Jim Osborne, Mike Ervin, Vernon Ervin, and Charles Lee Waugh.
