Glen was the owner of the Charleston Construction Company Inc. in St. Albans, West Virginia. Glen worked 50 years in heavy highway construction
Glen is survived by his son, Michael A. (Mary Anne) Durst, of Dublin, Ohio; daughters, Glennda A. Street, of Lancaster, Sonja C. Durst, of Lancaster, Karen S. (Richard) Wallace of Lancaster, Jacqueline K. (Barry) Tackett of Carroll, and Deborah D. (William) Weber, or Morgantown, Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Anna Ridenour Durst; parents, Kinsey and Lydia Durst; two sisters; two brothers; and son-in-law, Richard Street.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St, Lancaster, Ohio, with Pastor Cheryl Foulk officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster. Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
