Sydnor, daughter of Lorna Adkins and Chris Sydnor of Gallipolis, is a student at Gallia Academy High School. Her extracurricular activities have included cheerleading, tennis, key club, student council and the mentor program.
As the pageant winner, Sydnor received a $1,000 scholarship from the University of Rio Grande and a $750 scholarship sponsored by Ohio Valley Bank.
The first runner-up was Adrienne Hurlow, daughter of Katie and Mike Stroop of Gallipolis. She attends Buckeye Hills Career Center. Hurlow received a $750 scholarship from the University of Rio Grande and a $500 scholarship from the Wiseman Agency.
Second runner-up MacKenzie Newberry is the daughter of Rhonda and Russ Neal of Gallipolis and a student at Gallia Academy High School. Newberry received a $500 scholarship from the University of Rio Grande and a $300 scholarship from Horizon Telecom.
Third runner-up and Miss Congeniality was Victoria Howell, daughter of Mary Casey of Gallipolis. She attends Buckeye Hills Career Center. Howell received a $250 scholarship from the University of Rio Grande, a $200 scholarship from Horizon Telecom, and a $100 scholarship from the Gallia County Jr. Women’s Club.
In the Junior Miss Pageant, Alexis Polinsky was crowned the winner, while Lindsey Mitchell was named first runner-up. Polinsky is the daughter of Beckie and Russell Polinsky. Mitchell is the daughter of Mike and Chandra Wolford of Vinton.
