Reda Ann Smith, 49, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 31, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 27, 1961, in Aberdeen, Maryland, daughter of Robert Oran and Viola June Moore, who survive her. She was married to Ricky Thomas Smith, Sr., on June 23, 1984, who also survives her. Reda was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio, and Christian Home Educators of Ohio (CHEO).

Surviving are her husband, Ricky Smith, Sr., of Bidwell; two sons, Ricky Thomas Smith, Jr., of Columbus, Ohio, and Edward Robert (Erin) Smith of Gallipolis, Ohio; a daughter, Annamarie Smith of Bidwell, Ohio; her parents, Robert and June Moore of Gallipolis, Ohio; a brother, Bob (Donna) Moore, Jr., of Clendenin, West Virginia; and numerous “adopted” sons and daughters.

Reda was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lee and Pauline Dulaney, and paternal grandparents, Noah and Minnie Moore.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2011, at the First Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio, with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 5-8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Smith, Jr.; Edward Smith; Bob Moore Dustin Collett; Alex Trent and Todd Woodall. Willis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
