Winter, McCullough arrested in Leon meth raid

POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Two Leon residents were arrested in connection with the recent drug raid at Stephen Winter’s residence on Capehart Road in Leon.

Winter, 49, and Amanda McCullough, 20, were arrested early Monday morning by investigating officer Sgt. R.E. Fruth II.

The Narcotics Divison I.C.E.E. (Intensified Criminal Enforcement Effort) of the Mason County Sheriff’s Department uncovered drug paraphrenalia, money and firearms during the raid last Wednesday.

Both Winter and McCollough appeared before Magistrate Cheryl Ross after their arrest, and both posted their bond at $50,000 each.

Winter was charged with two counts of assessory before the fact of delivery of a controlled substance, and McCullough was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
