Bonnie Mae Spillman, 73, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Gallia County, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010, at her residence. Born September 3, 1937, in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary Johnson Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ellen Phillips and Thelma Pickett and by two infant siblings. Bonnie was a homemaker.

She is survived by her former husband, Arthur Knight of Racine, Ohio; six children, Libbie (Dan) Purdy of Georgia; James (Bev) Knight of Crown City; Robert (Lee) Knight of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Karen (Keith) Herbert of Georgia; Crystal (Gene) Palmquist of Boca Raton, Florida, and Michael Spillman of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Forrest (Ruth) Warren of Gallipolis; James (Wanda) Warren of Gallipolis; Howard (Betty) Warren of Crown City; Georgie (Oral Ray) Bevans of Crown City; Adele Sowards of Columbus, and Irvin Warren of Gallipolis.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010, at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Big Four Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until time of service.
