Our family recently visited the animal shelter and adopted a mixed breed to train as a service and/or psychiatric dog for my bipolar/add/LHON/pediatric migraine with aura daughter who is also visually impaired. Rex is ten months old, black and white weighs about 60 pounds and behaves better than either of my children currently.
