Eighth grade students at River Valley Middle School were already participating in computer-based Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) testing on the Thursday of the first week of the 2012-13 school year. SRI is a research-based, computer-adaptive reading assessment program that measures reading comprehension for students in grades K–12. Aligned to state tests, SRI helps educators forecast student achievement and adjust instruction as needed. RVMS is part of the Gallia County School District.
