GALLIPOLIS — Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning has reported that, now day three, law enforcement is still on the lookout for a missing woman on the southern end of Gallia County. In addition to patrols in the general area of her disappearance, the Gallipolis Fire Department, the United States Coast Guard and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources have been actively searching the banks of the nearby Ohio River.
Deputies are currently searching the Neighborhood Road area near Ohio 7 for Sharin Yoczik, 68. She is described as a white female, five feet, two inches tall, approximately 120 pounds, with blue eyes and grey hair.
Individuals with information in regard to Yoczik’s whereabouts should contact the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office at (740) 446-1221.
