GALLIPOLIS — As evidenced by the flowering trees and blooms that have seemingly popped up overnight across the region, spring has sprung in the Ohio Valley.
Several days of warm weather were a welcome sight to many in the region, including local gardeners and nature lovers who were out tending to their greening lawns and visiting the area’s local parks.
According to the National Weather Service, scattered showers are in the forecast for early Friday, but temperatures throughout the weekend will not drop below the upper 50s and lower 60s.
A high near 80 degrees is predicted for the first day of the work week, while a chance of showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast throughout the remainder of next week.
