KANAUGA — The Gallia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in a weekend break-in at a Kanauga-area local business.
According to Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning, the break-in occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday, February 23 at Riverfront Honda located at 436 Ohio 7 just north of Gallipolis.
Following the incident, described by Browning as a “smash and grab” style of breaking and entering, two Honda 1,000 watt generators were reported missing from the business.
The suspect, who was captured by in-store surveillance footage and appears to be a white male wearing a hooded camouflage coat, remains unidentified.
