Rio Health Fair sees record participation

RIO GRANDE — The University of Rio Grande hosted the 15th annual Rio Health Fair on Thursday, April 18. Nursing student and event coordinator Cyndi Bowen said a record 362 participants registered for the event.

“It was a very good health fair with a lot of good services offered. I know there at least a couple people who learned they were diabetic that didn’t previously know, and that’s what its all about,” said Bowen.
