State Rep. Ryan Smith (R-Bidwell) was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 130th General Assembly on Monday. He represents the 93rd Ohio House District, which includes Gallia and Jackson counties, as well as portions of Lawrence and Vinton counties.
COLUMBUS — State Representative Ryan Smith (R-Bidwell) was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 130th General Assembly on Monday. He represents the 93rd Ohio House District, which includes Gallia and Jackson counties, as well as portions of Lawrence and Vinton counties.
“I consider it a great honor and responsibility to represent the citizens of the 93rd District,” said Representative Smith. “I will continue to work tirelessly to give southeastern Ohio a voice in Columbus and continue to move Ohio in the right direction.”
Representative Smith is a financial consultant, vice president and partner at Smith Financial Advisors of Hilliard Lyons. He has served as president of the Gallia County Chamber of Commerce and the Gallia County Community Improvement Corporation. He is a former member of the Gallipolis City School Board of Education.
Representative Smith and his wife have four children.
