Little royalty

GALLIPOLIS — Parents, grandparents, friends and onlookers gathered at the Main Stage Monday — the first day of the Gallia County Fair — to see who would be crowned 2012 Little Miss and Little Mister Gallia County. In a first for Gallia County, one very proud family saw two daughters among the 2012 Little Miss/Mister Court. The Little Miss first runner-up was Haylee Fitch, left, who came in second to older sister and 2012 Little Miss Gallia County Taylor Fitch, pictured second from left. The girls are the daughters of Chris and Tracy Fitch. The 2012 Little Mister Gallia County was Reid Shafer, pictured second from right, son of Ryan and Rachel Shafer, and the 2012 Little Mister first runner-up was Robbie Keeton, pictured far right, son of D.R. and Liz Keeton.

The 2012 Little Miss and Mister Gallia County pageant preceded the 2012 Miss Gallia County pageant. The winners of that contest were not available as of press time. The contest will be featured in the Wednesday edition of the Gallipolis Daily Tribune.
