The artwork of students from the Gallia County Local School District is currently on display at the French Art Colony (FAC), and although much of the featured work is from the middle school and high school level, some younger artists also have work on display. The gallery walls are lined with drawings and paintings, while the tables are filled with three-dimensional art like ceramic pottery and paper mâché figures. A reception for artists, their friends and families was held Friday with a turnout of more than 100 people, according to the FAC. All the art pictured belongs to students from River Valley Middle School and River Valley High School. Additional featured artwork will be featured in upcoming editions of the Gallipolis Daily Tribune.
