Raiders slip by South Point at Sugarwood

LAVALETTE, W.Va. — The River Valley boys golf team topped hosts South Point 195-216 in an Ohio Valley Conference dual match at Sugarwood Golf Course.The Match was contested under the play six, count four format.

The Raiders were led by medalist Dan Goodrich, who shot a 44 on the day. Zach Morris and Jordan Howell each shot a 49 on the day, while Jacob Gilmore had a 51 to round out the RVHS total. Logan Sheets (54) and Cliff Chapman (67) also played but their scores did not count toward the River Valley total.

South Point was led by Caleb Jones with a round of 46, followed by Austin Wellman with a 55, and Madison Riley with a 56. Kyle Goodson rounded out the Pointers total with a 57. Barbara Collins (60) and Brandon Loden (79) also played but their scores did not contribute toward the SPHS total.
