Kenneth Ray Marcum, Jr., 33, Vinton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was born on May 3, 1979, the son of Sandy Marcum and Kenneth DePue, Vinton, Ohio.
Kenny Ray graduated from River Valley High School in 1997. He was employed at the Pillsbury Plant in Wellston, Ohio, prior to his employment at AEP where he worked as a lineman for eight years. He was well loved and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cassandra Marcum; his grandmother, Janice Johnson; his two grandfathers, Kelly Marcum and Earl DePue; uncle, Donald “DO” Oiler; and aunt, Sandy DePue.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children, Wyatt and DeeDee Marcum; one brother, Matthew DePue (Autumn Bush); and his grandma, Delores DePue. Also surviving are aunts, Mary “Mert” Oiler, Dolly (Chuck) Kepler and Susie (Kenny) Griffith; and uncles, Michael Ray (Bridgett) Marcum, Terry DePue and Billy (Sheri) DePue; a special nephew, Damien DePue ;and several cousins.
The memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012, in the Fellowship Building of the Ewington Church of Christ in Christian Union.
