James E. Gardner, seated, was arraigned on aggravated murder and aggravated robbery charges on Friday morning in Meigs County Common Pleas Court.
POMEROY — The Middleport man accused of murdering his father was arraigned in Meigs County Common Pleas Court on Friday morning.
James E. Gardner was formally charged with one count of aggravated murder in the death of James W. Gardner, and three counts of aggravated robbery.
Bond for Gardner was set at $900,000. He was remanded to the custody of the Meigs County Sheriff and is being housed in the Washington County Jail.
