GALLIPOLIS — Several theft-related indictments have been recently issued in Gallia County Common Pleas Court.
Indictments recently unsealed include:
• Ellis Fetty, 24, Portsmouth, has been charged with two counts of theft.
Count one alleges that on or about Oct. 19, 2007, Fetty deprived S&S Power Sports, the owner, of an 85cc dirt bike and 110cc 4-wheeler, without the consent of S&S Power Sports, the value of said property being more than $500, but less than $5,000.
Count two alleges that on the same date, Fetty deprived Gallipolis Farm & Archery, the owner, or cross bows, arrows, a tree stand, rifle scope and a bulldog buckle (release), with their consent, said property costing more than $500, but less than $5,000.
• Darrell R. Smith, 23, 7764 Ohio 7, Gallipolis, has been charged with one count of theft for allegedly depriving Mike Simms, the owner, or a 60 gallon green air compressor on or about Nov. 26, 2008, said property valued at more than $500, but less than $5,000.
Smith pled not guilty to the charge and was released on his own recognizance under a $5,000 bond with an additional bond set at $1,000 ten percent secured.
His jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 13 at 9 a.m.
• Kyle Wolfe, 19, 1195 Centenary Road, Gallipolis, has been charged with one count of theft for allegedly depriving Twinn Rivers Marina, the owner, of a 19-foot black boat trailer, a 1987 19-foot Wellcraft boat, and a Mercury 460 (165 hp) boat mower on or between Aug. 16, 2007 through Aug. 18, 2007, said property valued at more than $5,000, but less than $100,000.
Wolfe pled not guilty to the charge and was released on his own recognizance under a $10,000 bond with an additional bond set at $1,000 ten percent secured.
His jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 14 at 9 a.m.
• Brian E. Angell, 29, 14662 Ohio 160, Vinton, has been charged with one count breaking and entering for allegedly trespassing on the land or premises of Brenda Amsbary on or about May 6 with purpose to commit a felony.
Angell pled not guilty to the charge and was released on his own recognizance under a $5,000 bond with an additional bond set at $1,000 ten percent secured.
His jury trial is scheduled for Nov. 9 at 9 a.m.
