CHESHIRE — Graduation ceremonies for the class of 2009 at River Valley High School will be held on the River Valley football field, weather permitting, today at 7:30 p.m.

The 2009 class motto is:“Don’t cry because it is over; smile because it happened.”

The 2009 class officers are: President, Kayla Smith; vice president, David Holliday; secretary, Amanda Hager; and treasurer, David Householder.

Zachary Baird, Carissa Gilmore, David Holliday, David Householder, Jessi Ison and Haley Waugh will share the honor of valedictorian. Additionally, Iliana Corfias and Amanda Hager will share the honor of salutatorians for the River Valley High School Class of 2009.
