William Arnet “Dud” Nottingham, Sr., 74, of Vinton, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012, in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born September 2, 1937, in Clay County, West Virginia, son of the late Ernie and Bethel Hamrick Nottingham.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Nottingham of Vinton; two daughters, Vicki (Paul) Adkins, Vinton, Karry (Turley) Cooper, Vinton; three sons, Michael Kropf, Jr., Vinton, Billy (Megan) Kropf, Jacksonville, Ohio, and William Malcom, Canton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Nathan and Kayla Nottingham, Emily Adkins, Molli and Gabby Cooper, Hayden and Belle Kropf; two great-grandchildren, Braylon Nottingham and Cree Spencer; one brother and two sisters and a special friend, Alvin Spencer, Vinton.
In addition to his parents, Arnet was preceded in death by a son, William Arnet Nottingham, II, one brother and three sisters.
In accordance with Arnet’s wishes, cremation services will be conducted by the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
