There are false rumors circulating regarding water being shut off by Gallia County Rural Water and the Gallipolis Water Department. These rumors are not accurate, according to officials. Gallia Rural Water lost several outlying pumps due to lack of electricity. They are working to bring in generators to restore water to residents.
