The fifth-grade classes at Vinton Elementary School recently participated in a food drive for the Outreach Food Bank. Mrs. Walker’s class reached its goal first and Mrs. Tenney’s class brought in the most canned food. Pictured are fifth-grade class officers, Hollis Morrison, president; Abby Campbell, president; and Jacob Riley, vice president. Students who contributed canned goods received coupons from McDonalds.
