Stanley R. Wright, 61, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born February 4, 1951, in Lorain, Ohio, son of the late Sherman Edgar and Josephine Bunnell Wright. Stanley was married to Brenda Longwell and she survives him. He was a disabled veteran and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Wright of Gallipolis; one son, Scott O. Wright of Gallipolis; six grandchildren; and sisters, Nancy Vanderberg of Gallipolis and Donna Graver of Lorain, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by a son Michael Wright; daughter, Bobbi Jo Gormley; two sisters, Patsy Woolf, Reva Graver; and a brother, David Wright.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick O’Donnell officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service. There will be full military services by local veterans.
