POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — A nice way to spend senior night.
The Point Pleasant volleyball team earned a straight game victory over visiting Wahama Wednesday night on senior night.
The Lady Knights (11-11) took the first game 25-16 over Wahama (9-15). PPHS won the second game 25-20 and the final game 25-16 to earn the match victory.
Brooke Entingh led the service attack for the victors with 13 points on the night, followed by Makennah Lewis with 10 points. Charlie Leach had eight points, Kaci Riffle recorded seven points, Megan Davis had five points and Megan Bates had two points to close out the PPHS scoring.
Riffle had five kills to lead Point Pleasant, while Lewis and Bates each had three kills. Davis had two kills, Leach, Karrissa Cochran and Beth Porter each had one kill to round out the net attack. Entingh had nine assists, Leach finished with four assists, while Cochran led the way with 22 digs in the victory.
The Wahama service attack was led by Brittany Stewart with seven points and Kelsey Zuspan with five points. Paige Gardner recorded four points, Olivia Hill had two, while Sierra Carmichael and Emily Casto each finished with one point.
