GALLIPOLIS — A Gallia County man was found guilty on two counts of theft, one count of breaking and entering and one count of burglary and not guilty on one count of breaking and entering on Monday in the Gallia County Court of Common Pleas.

During a three-day crime spree on Dec. 28, Dec. 30, 2009, and Jan. 1, 2010, Ryan Henry, 21, Gallipolis, stole items from four separate properties in Gallia County.

Among the many items stolen by Henry were an ATV, a 50-inch Plasma screen TV, a Playstation 3, a laptop computer, tools, guns, cash, home furnishings and clothing.

Henry was found not guilty for one count of breaking and entering because it could not be successfully proven that Henry entered into enclosed property to steal a second ATV. However, two ATVs were found at the Henry residence, along with the many other stolen items, by deputies with the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office.

Steven Henry, 23, Gallipolis, and Matthew Gilbert, 22, Bidwell, were also involved with a number of the thefts. Steven Henry has pleaded guilty in his case and the case against Gilbert is pending.

Ryan Henry’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 30 in the Gallia County Court of Common Pleas.
