He was born on Feb. 10, 1979, in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Coy and Gilberta Starcher. He was employed as a motorcycle mechanic. He enjoyed boating, NASCAR, camping, four-wheeling, hunting and time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ada and Coy Starcher, Sr., and Ada and Wayne Harper, and his father-in-law, Dave Lemley.
He is survived by his wife, April Starcher; his parents, Gilly and Coy Starcher; a sister, Jennifer Rose Starcher; children, Mickayla Starcher, Kelsey Starcher, and Alexis Moon and her mother, Chandra Moon; special aunt and uncle, Russell and Cinda Starcher; special friend, Nina Gerlach; mother-in-law. Kathy Lemley; brother-in-law. Andrew Blankenship; sister-in-law. Sarah Blankenship; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Officiating will be Pastor Dewayne Stutler. Friends may call on Sunday, from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
After the service at the funeral home, the family will host a remembrance and reflection gathering at the Mulberry Community Center.
