POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Halftime Sports Bar and Grill in Point Pleasant has reportedly been closed since Wednesday of this week with no apparent explanation why.

The Viand Street establishment was formerly a Bennigan’s restaurant, but changed over to Halftime this past summer. The business is owned by Richard K. Rose.

There are no signs on the building’s exterior that would give a clue about why it was closed or if it would be open in the near future.

According to the Halftime Website, halftimerocks.com, there are two other locations, at the Charleston Town Center and in Athens, Ohio. However, there is no information about either of those locations on the respective pages on the site.

that is great news. don't need another bar in town, have too many already. perhaps if Bennigans had honored their agreement with the Church they would not have had to close. and it seems that Halftime made the same mistake. When you don't honor GOD then HE will not honor you.
