GALLIA COUNTY -- Gallia County is currently experiencing a failure of its 911 emergency phone lines. The county is also experiencing cell phone failures. A trouble report has been made to AT&T. At the moment, there is no approximate time for completion of repairs.

 

At this time, the regular seven digit phone lines are still operational. Some people are experiencing issues using cellphones to contact the following numbers. Residents should use a landline if available. Anyone with an emergency should use the following numbers to contact the Gallia County 911 Center:

 

Gallia County Sheriff’s Dept – 740-446-1221

 

Gallipolis City Police Dept – 740-446-1313

 

Gallia County EMS – 740- 446-3126

 

Gallia County 911 has made contact with local fire departments and they are aware of the situation. If you can not reach the 911 Center at the numbers listed above, please go to the following departments for assistance.
