Pine Street Cemetery in Gallipolis remains a field of stars and stripes a week after Memorial Day as U.S. flags decorate the graves of veterans laid to rest there. U.S. flags could be seen flying elsewhere in cemeteries around Gallia County as loved ones of deceased military personnel honored their memories by placing flags on their graves over the past few weeks.
