To The GAHS Class of 1962:
Where did 50 years go? It seems not to long ago we were walking the halls of Gallia Academy High School, enjoying life and discovering new things and feelings and emotions everyday. Going to assemblies, prom, pep-rallies, bon-fires, football games, hometown movie theaters, hayrides, swimming, drive-in movies, circling Bob Evans Drive-in, neighborhood games, sleigh riding, county fairs, youth groups, summer dances, summer nights, learning to drive, the Ohio River 4th of July, parades, holidays and many more experiences in our town of Gallipolis, Ohio.
Our foundations were created and nurtured in this wonderful community. Our family, church, school, teachers and friends influenced us and molded us for our undiscovered future experiences in life. We never gave thought to being where our parents were but here we are… for those of us that are still here on this earth; thanks be to our Lord and Savior who has blessed us and is walking with us through every step of our lives…for those that are no longer with us we give thanks that they touched our lives in such a profound way.
We wish you all a wonderful weekend of fellowship and sharing of memories of your lives that have grown from simpler times and humble beginnings in Gallipolis, Ohio. A hometown we’ll never forget and are forever thankful….
Love, Blessings and safe travel to you all………Congratulations GAHS Class of 1962!!
We are blessed….
