She was born in Ironton January 30, 1952 the daughter of the late Orville T. Wilson and Faye Bryant Wilson. She attended Walnut Ridge Baptist Church.
She retired from the Federal Correction Institute of Ashland, Ky. and was a Dispatcher for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept.
She was preceded by one sister, Sadie Maxie; and two brothers, Tom Wilson and Ernest Wilson.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Crawford; two sons, Cody Bob Crawford of Gallia County, Michael (Tom) Deere of Ironton; one daughter, Michelle Deere of Morrow County; four grandchildren, Michael Umphlettee, Ryan Umphlettee, Stephanie Rose and Nichole Umphlettee of Newark and Jacob Deere or Ironton;one great grandchild, Charles Bertram II of Newark; one sister, Phyllis Crabtree of Kitts Hill; and one brother, Roy Wilson.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Aldridge Officiating. Burial will be in the Bradshaw Cemetery.
Visitation will 6-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
