Dear Gallia Countians,

We have a unique opportunity to send one of our own to represent Gallia County and the 93rd District in the Ohio General Assembly. To accomplish this goal will require the support of the entire County.

Ryan Smith comes from many generations of Gallia Countians and is a proven leader. On a personal level, I have known five generations of his family, watched him grow up, attend Ohio State University, then return to Gallipolis to pursue a successful career as a financial advisor, becoming truly involved and dedicated to his community.

His leadership abilities are a given. Think of the many years we tried, but could not pass a levy to update our schools. Then, in 2005, through Ryan’s leadership, our citizens came together through the Red Dot Campaign and passed the much needed school levy.

As a fiscal conservative, with financial expertise, Ryan knows how to get things done. He is a past president of both the Gallia County Chamber of Commerce and the Community Improvement Corporation of Gallia County. He recognizes the challenges facing all of us in today’s economic climate.

If we are successful in electing Ryan as our State Representative from the 93rd District, we can look forward to bold conservative leadership. As a family man and a committed pro-life advocate, he is most concerned about the future of Gallia County and all of southeastern Ohio. This approach will grow the area through thriving businesses, providing jobs to increase employment and help families remain stable, independent and prosperous.
