For more than 119 years, The Gallipolis Daily Tribune has served the people of Gallia County as their primary source of news, as well as a guide to satisfy the community’s appetite for goods and services through advertising of local merchants.
Located in the Ohio Valley in southern Ohio, the Gallipolis Daily Tribune is published Tuesday through Friday morning. On Sundays, the Tribune joins with its sister newspaper, The Daily Sentinel of Pomeroy, to produce the Sunday Times-Sentinel.
Gallipolis is the county seat of Gallia County, Ohio, the home of world-famous restaurant pioneer Bob Evans. It is approximately two hours from Columbus, Ohio, 45 minutes from Huntington, W.Va., and one hour from Charleston, W.Va.
Gallia County is part of the tri-county region with Meigs County, Ohio, and Mason County, W.Va. All three counties border the Ohio River.
