POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — So much for gracious guests.


The Gallia Academy boys and girls track programs combined to win 27 of 36 events and both team titles Tuesday night during a dual meet against host Point Pleasant at the Ohio Valley Bank Track and Field in Mason County.


Both the Blue Devils and Blue Angels won at least 12 of the 18 events within their respective competitions, which also allowed both programs to claim margins of victory of at least 41 points. GAHS also won six of the 10 relays events held in both divisions.


The Blue Devils won 15 events and scored 109 points en route to a 77-point victory over the Big Blacks (32) on the boys side, while the Blue Angels won a dozen events and scored 90 points on their way to a 41-point triumph over the Lady Knights (49).


Starting with the girls, Taylor Queen led Gallia Academy by winning three individual championships. Queen won the 100m (13.45) and 200m (28.36) dashes and also claimed the long jump crown with a leap of 15 feet, 6 inches.


Hannah Watts came away with a pair of victories in the 400m dash (59.79) and 800m run (2:23.29), while the 4x400m (4:32.83) and 4x800m (13:30.75) relays squads also captured first place.


Hayley Petrie won the 1600m run (6:24.34) and Mesa Polcyn captured the 3200m (13:12.55) crown, while Madi Oiler won the 300m hurdles event with a time of 51.43 seconds.


Mary Watts captured the high jump crown with a height of 4 feet, 5 inches and Jalea Caldwell won the pole vault with a cleared height of 8 feet, 6 inches.


The Lady Knights were led by Aislyn Hayman, who won both the shot put (32-9) and discus (114-2) competitions. Carlee Dabney also came away with the 100m hurdles title with a winning mark of 16.78 seconds.


PPHS also won the 4x100m (54.46), 4x200m (1:54.94) and 4x102.5m shuttle hurdles (1:11.90) relay events.


On the boys side of things, Griffon McKinniss led GAHS with two victories in the 300m hurdles (44.65) and pole vault (11-6) competitions. Quenton McKinniss also came away with the 110m hurdles crown with a mark of 17.12 seconds.


Jacob Click won the 100m dash (11.29), Winston Wade captured the 200m dash (24.46) and Michael Edelmann earned first place in the 400m dash (55.81). Wes Jarrell and Logan Allison also posted respective winning totals of 5 feet, 8 inches and 20 feet, 3 inches in the high jump and long jump.


Isaiah Lester captured the 800m run (2:07.90) and Cade Mason won the 1600m run (5:34.51), while Devon Barnes clinched the 3200m title with a mark of 11:16.50.


Gallia Academy also earned first place in the 4x100m (44.87), 4x200m (1:39.72), 4x400m (3:49.97) and 4x110m shuttle hurdles (1:02.21) relay events.


The Big Blacks claimed a victory in the 4x800m relay event with a time of 9:34.99. Tannor Hill won the shot put (48-5) event and Cody Mitchell came away with the discus (147-1) crown.
