•Patrick D. Allen, 41, of 701 Mill St., North Lewisburg, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia Aug. 11.


•Heide M. Branam, 37, of 11690 W. U.S. Route 36, Lot 8, St. Paris, was charged with domestic violence Aug. 15.


•Jalen M. Edley, 20, of 122 S. Main St., Woodstock, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia Aug. 16.


•Rebecca D. Adkins, 44, of 7380 state Route 56, Mechanicsburg, was charged with inducing panic Aug. 14. Adkins was charged with domestic violence Aug. 10.


•Corey J. Taylor, 22, of 701 Mill St., Lot 5, North Lewisburg, was charged with domestic violence and unlawful restraint Aug. 18.


•Jerald R. Boyd, 39, of 862 S. Main St., Urbana, was charged with criminal damaging/endangering Aug. 8.


•James C. Hiltibran, 33, of 8182 Crowl Road, DeGraff, was charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana Aug. 8.


•Thomas L. Davis, 31, of 2714 state Route 559, Woodstock, was charged with littering Aug. 20.


CRASHES


Urbana Police Division


•Justin R. Olejniczak, 36, of Cable, was cited for failure to yield the right of way in a crosswalk following a pedestrian crash at the intersection of North Main Street and East Court Street Aug. 4. Olejniczak was turning left from the west side of the intersection of West Court Street at North Main Street and failed to yield the right of way, striking pedestrian Amy Johnson, 43, of Urbana, who was walking westbound in the crosswalk on the north side of the intersection. Johnson sustained possible injuries. Olejniczak’s vehicle sustained no damage.


•Sheldon C. Johnson, 20, of Urbana, was cited for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign following a crash in the intersection of Dugan Road and East U.S. Route 36 July 28. Johnson was stopped on Dugan Road and pulled into the roadway to cross East U.S. Route 36, colliding with a vehicle driven by Kimberly S. Owen, 51, of Mechanicsburg, who was traveling westbound on East U.S. Route 36. Owen sustained non-incapacitating injuries while Johnson and a passenger sustained possible injuries. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage.


•Virgil G. Gerber, 68, of Urbana, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead following a crash near Monument Square Aug. 8. Gerber rear-ended a vehicle driven by Ina M. Pratt, 57, of Wapakoneta, who was stopped facing eastbound at a yield sign on Miami Street. Pratt sustained possible injuries. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.


•Michael A. Cordle, 23, of Urbana, was cited for failure to control following a crash on College Way Aug. 8. Cordle was traveling eastbound on College Way and passed underneath an elevated railroad bridge. When going under the bridge, the vehicle veered right into the grass along the roadway. The driver over-corrected bringing the vehicle onto the pavement, then over-corrected again, causing the car to hit the elevated bike path bridge wall. Cordle sustained non-incapacitating injuries. His vehicle sustained disabling damage.


Champaign County Sheriff’s Office


•Katelyn M.A. Reeves, 20, of Springfield was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead following a crash in Mad River Township July 10. Reeves was traveling westbound on West U.S. Route 36 and struck a vehicle driven by Randall C. Branam, 43, of Piqua, who had stopped due to other traffic. Branam sustained possible injuries. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
