Friday, April 14

GALLIPOLIS — The monthly O.O. McIntyre Park District will hold its meeting in the park board office in the Gallia Courthouse at 11 a.m.

OHIO VALLEY — Woodland Centers will close clinic locations in Gallia, Jackson, Meigs and Vinton Counties in order to observe Easter holiday. Normal hours resume April 17. Emergency services can be accessed by calling 740-446-5500 in Gallia or 1-800-252-5554 from Jackson, Vinton or Meigs.

Saturday, April 15

ADDISON TOWNSHIP — Addison Township Trustees are making preparations for spring cleanup and mowing of cemeteries. All graveside decorations should be removed by April 15 for Campaign, Rife, East Bethel and Maddy Cemeteries.

Sunday, April 16

GALLIPOLIS — Bossard Memorial Library will be closed in observation of Easter. It will re-open April 17.

Monday, April 17

GALLIPOLIS — The American Legion Post 27, the Sons of the American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary E-boards will have a joint meeting 5 p.m at the post home on McCormick Road. All board members urged to attend. American Legion Post 27 members will beet at 6 p.m. at the post home.

Tuesday, April 18

GALLIPOLIS — The Gallia Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold its regular meeting at 4 p.m. at the administrative offices at 77 Mill Creek Road in Gallipolis.

GALLIPOLIS — American Legion Post 27 Ladies Auxiliary will beet at 6 p.m. to hold election of officers. All members urged to attend.

Wednesday, April 19

GALLIPOLIS — American Legion Post 27 will have a chicken tender diner 5 to 7 p.m. All are welcomed.

Thursday, April 20

GALLIPOLIS — Saint Peters Episcopal Church will host a 12.30 to 6 p.m. blood drive for the American Red Cross. Donors are asked to bring an ID or donor card.

GALLIPOLIS — Gallipolis Garden Cub will hold its meeting April 20 and not the 13. The meeting will be held in the fellowship room of the Presbyterian Church at 7 p.m.

GALLIPOLIS — The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 27 will meet at 6 p.m. at the post home on McCormick Road. Nomination for 2017-18 officers is the topic of the meeting. All members are urged to attend.

Friday, April 21

GALLIPOLIS — AFSCME (Ohio Council 8, OCSEA and OAPESE), OPERS and SERS public employee retirees invited to attend meeting at 2 p.m. at County Senior Resource Center, 1165 State Route 160.

Saturday, April 22

RIO GRANDE — A “Walk to Fight Suicide” will be held on the University of Rio Grande campus as part of the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk program. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. with it ending at noon. Registration is free and one can register at rio.edu/accessibility.
