A four-legged rescue and recovery effort


Sarah Steiner (right) of Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue, based out of Bath, collects Oliver (center), a malnourished Labrador recovered by Gallia County Dog Warden Laurie Cardillo from a suspected animal abuse investigation. Oliver was treated at Riverbend Animal Clinic and taken into Steiner’s care Tuesday. Oliver will be taken to Steiner’s rescue and further cared for in northern Ohio.
