The Marauders (8-10, 4-4 TVC Hocking) started things on a good note, as the guests jumped out to a 12-9 advantage after eight minutes of play. The Vikings (12-7, 8-2), however, countered with a 12-10 second quarter spurt, allowing the hosts to close their halftime deficit down to 22-21.
VCHS made its biggest run of the night in the third canto, as the Vikings went on a 14-8 charge to claim a 35-30 edge headed into the finale. The hosts made a small 11-10 run down the stretch to wrap up the six-point triumph.
